im finally back

its been weeks... but i am finally back on line.. my computer literally had over 5,000 viruses... and that is not a joke.. i had a friend completely blank out my hard drive for me... it took 11 hours today.. but i can finally use my computer again.. Ive missed you guys!..lol

I happened to read your journal entry, and completely understand how you feel about past writings. Personally, I revise them! I look at it as my work "evolving". Of course, you don't want to revise too much, otherwise you may loose the whole essence of the piece. For example, say you have a poem that expresses your emotions during a period of distress. Now let's say that over time, you have come to terms with those emotions. You could then perhaps add an ending, revise it or any other stanza to express your growth over time.

Just my two cents, hope it helps!
